Glacier Lake FNE Group

Wisconsin Rapids is located in what was a large lake that melted at the end of the last ice age. It left deposits of sand and carved out many of the local features in the area. For us the sand reminded us of the 40 days in the desert and the call to conversion and the fact that the water carved out local features reminds us how God is the one who shapes and molds us into the persons we become.

Cranberry Red & Gold

The major industry here in Wisconsin Rapids is cranberries and so “Cranberry red” represents that. Also, cranberry red is very close to “blood” red and reminds us of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the sacrifices we are asked to make in our lives. The gold reminds us of the chalice at Mass that holds the blood of Christ.
